Delete Your Account

Remove your Rukn account and personal data at any time.

Option 1: Delete From Within the App (Fastest)

The quickest way to delete your account is directly from the Rukn app:

  1. Open the Rukn app on your device
  2. Tap your profile icon (top-right corner)
  3. Scroll down to the Session section
  4. Tap Delete account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Your account and all personal data will be permanently removed immediately.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Delete My Account” and include:

  • Your registered phone number (with country code, e.g. +965 XXXX XXXX)
  • Your name as it appears on your account (if provided)

We will verify the request, delete your account within 30 days, and send a confirmation email once complete.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your phone number
  • Your name and email (if provided)
  • Your order history and cafe orders
  • Your loyalty points balance and tier status
  • Your push notification token

What May Be Retained

For legal and accounting compliance, anonymized order records (without personal identifiers) may be retained for up to 5 years as required by Kuwaiti law. These records cannot be used to identify you.
